The Dira Digital Workforce Lab is SADTI's flagship AI capacity-building programme — a repeatable model designed to bring practical, sector-specific AI skills to professional groups across Tanzania, one cohort at a time.
AI for Finance Professionals
Our inaugural programme equips accountants, auditors, and finance professionals with the practical AI literacy they need to stay relevant as automation and AI reshape financial work — from understanding AI-enabled tools already entering the profession, to the governance and data-protection considerations that come with them.
Why finance, why now
Finance is one of the sectors most immediately affected by AI adoption, yet training has lagged behind the pace of change. By starting here, in partnership with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) and the Institute of Finance Management (IFM), Dira builds credibility and a proof of concept for the model before scaling to other professions.
